8 youngest presidents in the world

The youngest leaders in the world are under the age of 40 and mostly men, only one woman.

According to Business Insider, Vanessa D'Ambrosio, 28, is the youngest head of state in the world. She is currently the leader of the Republic of San Marino, a mountainous European country, in Italy. D'Ambrosio led the country in a six month tenure with co-leader Mimma Zavoli until October. Photo: Twitter


Kim Jong-un, 33, is the North Korean leader, currently the First Secretary of the Korean Labor Party, Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Lao Labor Party, First Chairman of the Korean Defense Council, Yuan Marshal of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, 37, is Bhutan's fifth king. He studied abroad in England and America, and was crowned in December 2006 at the age of 26, shortly after his father abdicated.
He was dubbed the dragon king of the land "Thunder Dragon". The first decision made by the Dragon King after the throne ended the monopoly on the sandstone and wood industries in the form of nationalization, a popular move. Juri Ratas, 38, is the new prime minister and head of the Estonian Central Party. He was elected in November 2016.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Technology in Business Administration, a bachelor's degree in Law and a master's degree in economics. In addition to politics, Ratas also participated in the development of basketball in his hometown, serving as president of the Estonian Basketball League from 2012 to 2016. Volodymyr Groysman, 39, is the youngest prime minister in Ukraine's history.
