Fire Pouyuen Company, thousands of workers were evacuated

Flames of fire cover the Pouyuen Restaurant in Binh Tan District (HCMC), causing thousands of workers to panic.

On the morning of August 28, fire smoke, covering the dining area A Pouyuen Company on Highway 1 (Binh Tan District). Thousands of workers working in nearby factories were evacuated. Local firefighters continuously spray fire but failed.

More than 100 police officers and many scooters were sent to the scene. Nearly an hour after the fire was extinguished. The cause and damage of the fire are being investigated.

Pouyuen Vietnam Company is 100% foreign capital with 8,000 workers specialized in producing sports shoes and garment for export.

This company has experienced many fires. Four years ago there were two consecutive fires that left 4,000 square meters of factories and finished shoes burned down.
