A train had plunged into the station in Hoboken, New Jersey at a time when the peak morning traffic on 29-9 (US time).
According to AFP emergency information system of the New York official announcement on Twitter, said: "Due to a New Jersey Transit train derailed at the Hoboken Terminal to all transport operations in and out of Hoboken Terminal are suspended ".
ABC News said some 100 people were injured, including the engineer of the train and some passengers. Many are still trapped in the vessel.
The images posted on social networks shows that the station was badly damaged, the roof was collapsed down the station. Cause of the crash has not been determined.

According to the photos it is a wagon seems to have crashed into the waiting room of the station, the roof collapsed and the debris splashing, destroying the structure of the station area.
