Car carrying tourists on their way to a ski resort in central Japan unexpectedly fell mountainside, killing at least 14 passengers were killed and 27 others injured.

The accident occurred early this morning near a mountain road 15-1 on the famous resort town of Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture. Fire officials said the bus crashed through the opposite lane, crashing through the railing and falling slopes.
According to Japanese media, when in distress, on the bus was carrying 41 people, including two alternate driver. The scene showed the car fell down the mountainside at least 3m, lying on your side.
So far 14 people have been confirmed killed, 27 people were taken to hospital with various injuries, while 19 people are in serious condition, according to Bloomberg.
It is unclear what caused the accident, but Kyodo News said citing police at the accident, the road is no snow or ice.
