According to Japan's Mainichi newspaper, a new arrest warrant for Shibuya suspects began today (5-5), after the first arrest warrant expired. The new arrest warrant includes several charges against the suspect, including murder.
Minh Linh missing on March 24 after leaving home to school. The baby's body was discovered on March 26 at a ditch in the city of Abiko, about 10 kilometers from the victim's home. Nhat Linh's school pupil was found one day later at the Tone River, Ibaraki Prefecture.
Police arrested Shibuya, 46, on April 14, alleging he had left his body. The suspect was the president of the parents' association of Nhat Linh school, about 300m away from the victim's home.
Kyodo news agency quoted sources from the Japanese investigating agency as saying that the results of DNA screening showed that the hair samples found on the suspect's car matched the DNA of Nhat Linh.
The autopsy results showed that Nhat Linh was strangulated. Police are analyzing rope patterns found at the Shibuya suspect house and elsewhere to see if they match the type used to kill the victim.
Nhat Linh lives with his parents and younger brother in Matsudo from December 2015. Previously the family lived in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. The body of Nhat Linh was taken to Vietnam burial. Thank you for leaving valuable comments
