6-12 nights, a meteorite crashed in the territory of Khakassia region Beysky in southwestern Siberia (Russia) making the night sky lit up like daylight.

Many people witnessed this phenomenon at first said they "did not understand what happened."
"Suddenly everything lit up. Though not quite the same light of day, it's quite bright," Olga Sagalakova witnesses told RT.
"We're watching the nearby mountain ... and see the giant asteroid flew past. It has a tail. Honestly, I was scared. I thought it was a bomb," she said.
Witnesses said they saw the meteor for about three or four seconds and half a minute later there was a loud bang caused car sirens howling loudly everywhere.

"It's very nice. You do not have the opportunity to see this every day," the witness said Sergey Isaykin.
Khakassia officials also confirmed meteorite explosion. No information on damage.
Earlier in 2013, a large meteor exploded in the sky city of Chelyabinsk, the Urals (Russia) shocking that many windows broken and stalled traffic.
