According Mirror 20-12 days, this is the second time the phenomenon of snowfall was recorded in the Sahara - the biggest hot desert in the world.
Karim Bouchetata - an amateur photographer witnessed snowfall, said everyone was extremely surprised to see snow in the Sahara.
"Everyone was stunned to see snow in the desert, very rare such events. Snow lay on the sand looks great," he said.
He also said the snow fell only 1 day and has now melted.
Spread across the Sahara Desert near the northern Africa. Hundreds of thousands of years, it has undergone several changes in temperature and humidity.
This desert is one of the hottest and driest regions in the world today, although it is forecast to be greened in about 15,000 years.
